Splinterlands New Chapter for all - Dread Tafarian vs Asel Alagosdil in Low Mana Cost Battle!

Greetings to all the readers here,

As usual, I opened Splinterlands today to follow my daily routine and win 5 battles so that I could secure my daily rewards.

However, before entering the Frontier Battle Mode, I noticed that I had to complete one more chapter in the Campaign Mode. I was actually happy to see this because it meant something new was waiting for me.

In the screenshot below, you can see that this was not a battle related chapter. Instead, it was a chapter that allowed me to create a new avatar.

Below, you can see the avatar I created after trying a few different options. I really liked the final result.

It is a female character with stylish glasses, a nice hairstyle, a clean dressing sense, and a yellow background. Overall, I think it looks pretty cool.

After completing this chapter, I finally entered the battle scene. For this battle, I chose Aurelia as my summoner, while the opponent came with a water element summoner.

In the screenshot below, you can see the battle lineup. I took Dread Tafarian, and the opponent used a card that I had never seen before.

The name of the card was Asel Alagosdil, and this was the first time I encountered it. The card came with some abilities, which I will talk about later in this post.

In the screenshot below, you can see the second round of the battle, where the situation was 2 monsters versus 3 monsters. At this point, I clearly had the upper hand, and I was already confident about winning the match.

Finally, in the screenshot below, you can see the last round. My Dread Tafarian was still alive, and I also had 2 additional cards remaining. This gave me a clear advantage, and that is how I managed to win the battle.

Now let us talk about the new card I mentioned earlier. In the screenshot below, you can see Asel Alagosdil.

This card has 2 abilities. The first ability means that it cannot be weapon trained, which is not very interesting to me.

The second ability is Divine Shield, which allows the card to ignore all damage once. After that, the Divine Shield is destroyed.

In my opinion, this card can be useful only in specific situations. For example, if in the very first round all enemy attacks are directed toward this card, then Divine Shield can help absorb that initial damage. Apart from that scenario, I do not find this card very useful at the moment.

Finally, in the screenshot below, you can see that after winning 5 consecutive battles, I was able to claim my daily rewards. I won a rare card today as well, which made me really happy.

That is all I did in Splinterlands today. If you enjoy reading my Splinterlands blogs, make sure to follow me for more updates.
