HEY REX
A letter to my future self is definitely something to think about, there are a lot of things I would like to really talk about, but to be honest, with everything going on currently, the future remains uncertain and we can only hope to achieve greater things. It is with this uncertainty I would love to address a letter to my future self. But before I write this letter there are things I would like to consider. First my current situation, second where I want to be in 1 year, and lastly the things I need to do to bring myself to where I wish to be. So here goes nothing…
“Hey Rex, it’s been 1 year year since you restarted this journey of self development, a lot of things must have changed, I can not begin to imagine how many times things have changed for you, and I can not imagine how many times you have had to change your plans because of how situations have changed around you. However, I hope you have achieved the things you wished for. I hope your goals have become better, I hope you have gained clarity to things confusing you, but most of all, I hope you are better than I am now.
But then again knowing me, I hope you are not relaxing thinking you have archived everything you wanted, I hope you are not about to make a mistake in desperation, I hope you are not about to even make another mistake in comfort, if you are not sure of the next step, remember that it is okay to wait until you are sure. There is no rush, but there is always a sense of urgency. So Rex, do not slack, but move forward until the sky becomes your starting point.

Your letter feels like advice that anyone could benefit from. Life rarely goes exactly as planned and adapting without losing sight of your goals is an important skill. I hope one year from now you'll be proud of the progress you've made. even if the path wasn't a straight one.
