Here's Why You Want To be On Hive

So If you had asked me about Hive a few years ago, I would have probably just shrugged and moved on, funny thing is, I actually had an account for like 6 years plus, but I wasn’t doing anything with it, It was just there existing, It was not until sometime last year, after a friend kept talking to me about it, that I finally decided to pay attention, and honestly, that was when everything changed for me.

So if someone asks me today why they should join Hive, I will not just jump into big grammar or try to oversell it, I will just tell them my own story, because that’s the realest way I can explain it.

First thing I will mention is the earning aspect, sincerely, that is what gets most people’s attention, Hive is one of those platforms where you can actually earn from your content, whether you like writing, sharing your thoughts, posting pictures, or even just engaging with people, there is a reward system attached to it, but I will make it clear that it is not a get rich quick thing, You have to be consistent, you have to learn, and you have to grow, the money comes with time and effort.

Then I’ll talk about decentralization, even though that word sounds big, what it really means in simple terms is that you have more control, nobody can just wake up and decide to shut down your account or delete your content for no clear reason, that alone is something a lot of platforms don’t offer, on Hive, your content actually belongs to you, and that freedom is something you start to appreciate the more you stay.

Another thing I will definitely highlight is the community, This one surprised me the most when I started taking Hive seriously, there are different communities for almost anything you can think of writing, gaming, lifestyle, crypto, even just random life talks,You get to meet people from different parts of the world, interact, learn new things, and sometimes even build real friendships, it does not feel like you’re just posting into space, people actually read, respond, and connect with you.

I’ll also talk about growth, Hive has a way of pushing you to improve yourself without you even realizing it, you start paying attention to how you write, how you express your thoughts, how consistent you are, over time, you just become better, not just as a content creator, but even as a person.

But most importantly, I will tell them this, Hive is one of those things you will not fully understand until you actually start, I was there before, having an account and doing nothing with it, It took me deciding to actually give it a chance before I saw its value.

So if I am convincing someone, I won’t pressure them, I will just say, start small, explore, stay consistent, and give it time, because that is exactly what worked for me, and sometimes, that is all it takes to open your eyes to something that is been right in front of you all along.
