Will Home Wind Turbines ever be a reality for residential power generation?

I get excited whenever I read something about residential power generation. Solar is becoming one of the most successful implementations for residential needs, and after the new scheme that the central government launched, it has been a thing that many people across India are getting onboarded to Solar power generation on-grid for the subsidy. I have also been thinking about doing this for quite some time. I have even got a few vendor contacts that I would be exploring soon. This has now become a normal thing to reduce the power bills for the home. I wouldn't say that this is a benefit, but maybe because we have this subsidy now, it can be a benefit.

The next most important thing is these wind turbines. We might have seen giant wind turbines everywhere, but these residential turbines are coming up with a lot of innovations, and they are compact and noise-free so that they can be easily installed on rooftops, and they even have good efficiency. I know for a fact that this is a hot thing in other countries, but in India, this is not very popular. I'm not familiar with any company doing this, but even if they do it, the cost is very high, and the efficiency is also very low. This is still a market that is untouched.

I would say that in coastal regions, this can be a wonderful solution because the wind flow will be higher and efficiency might be higher. But I'm not sure if there are already companies trying to import this or explore this, but this is still a very good thing to explore, especially for countries like India where there are more coastal regions with more wind possibilities. In other countries, I see people using this as an option, and even on one of the websites, I noticed that they have mentioned different types of wind turbines that look different. I hope some engineers in India take this seriously and take a look at it more seriously in India. I would say that India is the best place for these explorations because we have a lot of Sun as well as Wind for this. This can be a super Boon for residential power generation.
