Too much to talk but too less time

The beauty of life is that it will keep changing, and change is the only thing that is constant. Today was a wonderful day for me. I met a few good old colleagues who used to work with me in my organization. They moved to different places, and I'm still in the same organization. Everybody is busy with their own lives; when they spend time with others, the time is really valuable, and that also shows how important we are to them, and it has to be the same way for us too. We may not get this feeling if we meet quite often.

We literally jumped from one topic to another because we had so much to talk about but very little time. I think this type of socializing has reduced or has become different, I should say, post-COVID. I have heard this from others too, where they say that even visiting their relatives and spending time with them has reduced to a greater extent after COVID. Earlier, people were afraid to socialize, but now that has become a normal thing. I think it can take some more years for us to heal from this.

We usually value some people's friendship so much. In whichever direction our life goes, we value our friendship and always want to continue it for a longer time. We cannot be sure we will have some wonderful moments with our friends forever. I would say that we should cherish whatever little time we get to spend with them. Life will keep moving very fast. We will keep growing, and our kids will keep growing. Our priorities might even change, and the people with whom we interact will also keep changing, but despite all these, there will be one set of people who will always be there in our lives throughout our journey.
