Tomorrow is the Polling day in our State

Tomorrow is a very important day for our state. We have some interesting politics going on in our State for the last few months. The candidates who are in the election are very interesting. Polling happens tomorrow and the results are coming out on the 5 th of next month. That is when counting happens. We are very curious to know about this election because we have a new movie star who is one of the candidates. There is a huge hope on that candidate and people are also expecting a change.

In my opinion polling is very important and it is the right of every citizen to vote in the elections. They should also participate on the elections if they can. I stopped following politics long back but I do keep myself up to date on a high level. Till 2017, I used to even talk some politics with friends and in social media. After a big realisation, I stopped doing that and I feel very good about it now.

Tomorrow has been declared a holiday by the government to make it easier for people to Vote. People even travel to their home town just for the sake of voting. There are also many dedicated individuals coming from foreign countries to cast their votes. This time it is very hard to say who will become the chief minister here because there is a tough competition going on. People expect change but still not sure if they will vote for the right candidate or not.

I usually take part in this and go and cast my vote to the candidates that I think is deserving. I also feel that this voting system should be improved by the government. They are still using manual methods to cast votes. There are so many technological advancements happening and even Blockchain can be used to make people cast their votes but we are still dependent on physical devices to capture the votes. There again I wouldn't say that it is a flawless system. But it just works. Hopefully in the near future when we have proper government and good adoption of the technology, we might have a better system someday.
