Solid State Batteries in another few years

I have been following the news about solid state batteries for quite some time. My interest in batteries started after I bought my electric bike and started using it for my commute needs. One thing that I noticed was that battery is something that has not improved much in the last few decades. Now that's we have a lot of need here to have a better battery technology, people are doing a lot of research and coming up with better batteries. Lithium Ion batteries are ruling the market right now and my electric bike is also using lithium-ion battery.

The next better battery is the lithium ferro phosphate battery. The home inverter systems that were using Lead Acid batteries are now getting converted to Lithium ferro phosphate. I'm also having plans to change my inverter battery to lithium ferro phosphate. I'm also closely filling the news on Solid State Batteries that can change the way how we look at batteries. It is currently in experimental stages. We might see them being used in commercial general public use in another 2 years or so.

Solid State Batteries comes with a lot of advantages making it the best option that we can have. Some of the features include:

• Smaller in size with more capacity.
• They are packed with solids instead of liquid making it safe from fire.
• Better for fast charging
• Longer range when used in Electric Vehicles
• Compact with more power

A company in Taiwan has already started mass production of these batteries. This is why it is expected to be in the market in another year or so. There is also a plan to do mass production in other countries like France where the usecases for using it in Data Centers is also heavy. If this becomes successful our mobile phones will hold charge for several days instead of just one day. Some also claim that the life of these batteries can go over 40 years.
