It takes 10 days to get LPG cylinder delivered

I don't know how the fuel situation is in other places but we recently ordered gas and we received it only after 10 days. In the news they show both real facts as well as cooked up things and it is hard to believe which one is true. It is said that during war mostly all the LPG plants are getting damaged and it is becoming very hard to manage. Initially it was said that all the ships that were carrying fuel to other countries from Iran was also getting attacked. This not only affected Iran but also the other countries that were dependent on them.

They say that we might get another lockdown soon and it is going to be for the fuel. Right now the situation may not be that bad but in the future there is a high chance that the situation can worsen and we might have a serious fuel scarcity. I don't know which one to believe and if there would be problems for real.

People also panic and buy things more than what they actually need. Even though things have become normal these days, people over buy and keep them in stock and that creates a demand in the market. There may not be a real scarcity but because of the high demand a scarcity can happen. We got LPG delivered after almost 10 days and this is a sign that the demand is really very high. More than household needs, commercial places are the ones having real problems.

Government is also taking many initiatives to keep the situation in control but it will be wise to look for alternatives and be prepared because we don't know when this war situation will come to end. Already many people are using induction stove and rocket stove where wood is used as the fuel.

“Great and informative post 👏—do you think this delay is just temporary or a sign of a bigger fuel crisis ahead?”
