HPUD July 2026 - Powered up 5000 Hive

Last month was a very busy month for me. I wasn't able to post any content on Hive, but I'm very glad that I'm able to post something today, sharing the happy news that I was able to power up 5000 Hive on the occasion of Hive Power Up Day. The AI world is keeping me very busy. There are so many opportunities available in the AI world, and I have been exploring many AI tools in the last few months. I did not get a chance to get back to my habit of writing something every day. In the last month, the price of Hive has been a bit stable. Even though the price of BTC dropped, Hive was decent to stay at this price itself.

It has always been a trend that when BTC falls, the price of the alt coins will also fall, but this time thankfully there was not a huge difference. But if you ask me, I would say that the price of Hive is very poor right now. I don't know when the good time will start again for Hive or any alt coin, for that matter. The whole world is busy with AI and they don't consider blockchain to be the next big technology. We need some bigger things happening in the blockchain world to make this interesting. Let's see how it goes.

If I look at the above data, curation rewards is the only source of revenue for me on Hive. I did not get a chance to write any articles in the last month. I'm not sure about this month again, but I will give it a try to write regularly this month. I'm glad that my curation rewards percentage was close to 8 %, which is a nice thing because it can usually go down.

If I look at my other account, I'm able to see that the witness rewards are getting poorer day by day. It does not cover the cost of the servers. Maybe people who are running it from home might see some advantage there, and only if they are in a better rank. Also, they might still have their current bills that need to be paid and hardware wear and tear costs that need to be compensated. Let us all hope that Hive recovers so that all these problems can be easily resolved.
