Today, there is a trend that people are attracted more towards working on remote jobs. Ever since COVID happened, people have been attracted to remote jobs. The main reason is that they don't have to spend time on the road, they don't have to eat outside food, they can take rest and breaks whenever they want, and there is no forced need for someone to socialize with anyone. This flexibility is something that has created a different perspective among the working crowd.
I wouldn't say this thought process is wrong, but at the same time, it is also creating a lot of problems. Many people also have health issues and mental issues because of continuous work from home. There are both pros and cons in this. Some people don't pay attention to the work hours if they work from home, and they easily burn themselves out. People sometimes even work for more than 12 hours, thinking that working from home is flexible. Due to immobility, lots of health issues are created because of working from home. I even lost one of my cousins due to obesity during COVID and bad food habits.

Now coming back to the topic about remote jobs, though it sounds very attractive, it also becomes a trap. From my experience, I would say that Hybrid jobs are the best with flexible timings, and that's the best thing someone can get. 100 percent work-from-office jobs are also an outdated ideology, and at the same time, 100 percent work from home is also not a good idea. The main reason why I wanted to share this thought in the form of this article is that, recently, a few people whom I know lost their jobs from 100 percent remote jobs. They were given good compensation and good flexibility, but the company decided to let them go because it did not have enough projects for them.
If it were a physical job, at least the employees could go and talk to their HR department. But I recently came to know that one of the remote job companies laid off its HR team after the recruitment was complete. This sounds like a funny thing, but it is very serious for people who were in that trap. I wouldn't say that all remote jobs are dangerous. I know someone who is working for a Dubai company and they are in their job for at least 5 years. They work from India, but they get their salary without any tax. There are remote jobs like that, and people work from multiple other countries. But my point is that you choose the remote jobs wisely and don't fall into the trap that some start-ups create. Having physical offices is good because we can at least sue them or, at the bare minimum, we can go there and yell at someone if something goes terribly wrong.

I have been working from home since 2012 and without a strict discipline, it's very tough. Health comes first in the list, and workout is a must with top priority.
