Car Service after 5 years - New learnings
I own a Tata Nexon car 2021 model. I bought this car from my friend as he was travelling to US for a job opportunity. Back then I did not have any idea to purchase cars but since my friend was offering it, I wanted to take the offer and the price was also pretty decent. I know for a fact that car is not an investment but a liability and we spend a lot of money for this luxury.
Today I got my car back from the service center. I have to admit that I like my car very much. Not saying this because I own it but in general, I see a good comfort and I'm happy with this riding experience. I wanted to go for an electric varient car but I got this and it is fine. It's been 5 years for the car and this is the 5th year service. My friends used to say that we can go ahead and do the service outside Tata reputed service stations as it is already 5 years and it is a paid service. But I wanted to stick to their reputed service center because tomorrow if something I can question them.

The problem with the reputed service center is that it will be very costly to do the service there. The labor charges are huge compared to ordinary service centers outside. I would even say that it can be double. Today I paid about 52k INR for the service. I had to change a few components since it is already 5 years and all because of the wear and tear. But maybe if I had taken the vehicle to some other local service center, it would have saved at least a minimum of 20k for me.
As they were changing many components, I got the opportunity to learn more about my car and the car parts. When the service representative mentioned about the parts that's when I google and learned many things. It was definitely a good learning experience. I would say that it was a satisfying experience and the most satisfying part is riding the car after the service. I feel like I'm having a fresh start with the vehicle.
They say that Tata service is not very great and it is also very costly compared to other brands especially Maruti. But we have to pay that price anyways for that luxury. Since I take things easy, maybe so far I have had only good experiences with Tata service I guess.

Tata cars are good, but the service cost is high, and the service centre experience is not that great. I got this feedback from my friend, as they own a Tata, so I chose to go with Maruti because of this. Nexoan is a good car, and you seem to be a happy Nexoan owner.
