Bugfix & Changes: Bro Bang Version 0.8.37 | Reducing the needed data amount under specific conditions
I published the new Bro Bang version 0.8.37. It has no effects within the game play, but reduces the needed data calls during saving the game.
Yesterday @teooo called me with a question: "Was there a problem with saving the game or did I clicked the wrong button?". Luckily (for me, not for @teooo) he clicked the wrong event button. But during investigation of the process I saw that the "save data call" is triggered several times - which is not necessary.
So I edited the conditions when the data becomes saved. The new version has no effect on the game itself, but reduces the amount of data a player transfer. Not a big thing, but in every case I liked to fix the unwanted behavior, because everything should work as intended.
I made a few test games and debugged the game. Looks like now is all okay. But of course every update needs to be proven under real conditions. I will see the result of the changings as soon as some games reach the condition which caused the weird behavior. Not every player triggered these conditions, but I will the results as soon as the top players play & score.
