Just last month, a 27-year-old harmless youth was gunned down by a policeman. Not up to a month ago, just yesterday, another terrible incident happened. I am not the type of person who usually rants, but this is getting out of hand because these people are now taking laws into their hands because they always do it without anyone checkmating them. That is so terrible.
In this country, we have less than 500 surgeons for over 150 million people. And one of them was brutally assaulted yesterday when he was preparing for a surgery.
I was going through my IG posts when I saw a video explaining how a surgeon in Akwa Ibom was beaten by the EFCC to the extent that blood was coming out of his head when he was about to prepare for an operation in a hospital.
At that moment, what was about to happen in the surgery room had to wait because he was the only one capable of operating. Lives of patients were put at risk. Nurses had to run for their lives. Patients who were receiving treatment were in panic. And now, the medical practitioners in that state have gone on strike just because of that bizarre situation when men with authority stormed the hospital space and took laws into their hands when things could have been properly handled. I think hospital space should be an inviolable, safe space for all.
Shortly after the terrible incident. The EFCC released a statement that they had told the doctor to report, but he refused. But in my opinion, how is it being done legally? They should have involved lawyers or a court order instead of taking laws into their own hands.

After I checked for more updates online. The part that people kept on talking about till now was not the unlawful arrest only. But how a hospital that is supposed to be a place where the human body in crisis commands everyone's full attention was violated, and a lot of lives are currently at stake.
And now, some of these people will be saying that our doctors are now moving abroad... Why won't they relocate when their lives are not safe again?
Some will be under pressure and be thinking twice before going to work. Even patients on hospital beds will be having second thoughts that anything can happen and the people taking care of them can be taken away mid incision. And this is not something we should keep shut about. It needs urgent attention because what is really going on?
Thank you for reading.

Your post is a case in point. You're making a claim that's specific enough to be wrong, which is the mark of actually useful content. I'm tagging this as worth curating. Solid contribution.
