Afri-tunes Inleo initiative: Pouring out the Inner world(heart) through music.

It's undeniable that songs often stem from the pouring out of emotions. Many musicians draw inspiration from personal experiences, whether joyful or painful. These incidents shape the lyrics and melodies that resonate with listeners.

I am not good with music but My mother, a former choir member, is a testament to the power of music. Though I'm not musically inclined, I've grown up witnessing her passion for singing. She often breaks into familiar tunes, but sometimes she sings songs that seem to come from a deeper place. These songs are composed from the heart, reflecting her emotions and experiences.

When such songs begin to show up it tells that something is not right and it often help us adjust and see how well we can try to help her even though she won't tell her problems to us, all we do is just pay close attention to the lyrics and trust me we often find the problem in the midst of her songs.

When she sings these heartfelt songs, her facial expressions and body language reveal the emotions behind them. It's as if the music is a reflection of her inner world.

Our ancestors' stories of intercommunal wars and struggles also highlight the role of music in expressing and processing emotions as music gives that vibes to go get what rightfully belongs to a community, maybe a fight for a land or someone who has been held hostage.

They sing songs on their way to war and on their way back from war songs express emotions it tells if the warriors were able to conquer or not.

Music is soul healing. It gives that room for everything to be said even if there is no one to listen to you.

Musicians are lucky to have this in them. People who know not how to sing will rather cry and look for someone to pour out their heart felt problem and some who are not good with telling people their problems end up losing things that could be their mental state that is generally at stake.

I think the best way to express emotions is through music because music itself heals the spirit, soul and body.

It relieves the heart from a burden that is sometimes difficult to lift.
