Rising Star - Stream, Play, Earn (Noob Update).

Yesterday had to be the most fun I’ve had all week. I am still newbie-ish to Rising star and I had this friend who sent me a million Starbits (can't remember how much) to get some cards. However, I just veered off and can’t seem to remember to play it. When I do remember I get lazy because I prefer to use the Laptop compared to mobile which seems to get laggy sometimes thanks to the data stuff.

Anyway, I just thought, what if I got to play with other people? What if I can run missions for a time with some people and maybe have these people show me how to go about this game that seemed to do my head in? Off I went to find the benevolent Ray and charming Stickupboys to tell them what I thought. They thought it was a really good idea and so, I tested streaming on Discord and getting all the checks and all. Seeing it was all good, I went ahead and sent a post out inviting as many as would turn up. Did I mention @stickupcash sent me 1 million starbits?

Moving forward, Friday came around and I swear to God I never expected anyone other than Ray and Stickupboys (possibly) but then imagine my surprise when more people turned up. More than I expected and all of them are veteran players! I felt so princessy! Anyway, I used my account. Why? Because I’m new and the extra lessons would pay off. I also hope more newbies would turn up. I saw something about the bull (isn’t that over?) and I think this is the time for us to rack up. Apart from that, I think Rising Star is a really cool game honestly. It doesn’t require you to be thoroughly active like Jux explained, it is more passive and runs well even when you are not paying attention. So, you can be hitting those corporate documents on your laptop but have your RS account open in another tab.

Apart from being advised to focus on building my levels, I joined the Rave. Special thanks to @clove71 who sent me another million starbits (at this rate, I’ll be an RS whale! - or not) and everyone who was patient enough to explain and show me things my eyes seemed to miss. So, I joined the Blue Rave. I was confused a bit but ah!

To join the Rave, you need to get an FA1 card. I got mine, and won some thousand starbits from it. You also earn some swap.hive. Pardon me if you aren’t getting a roll off of information, I’m still finding my feet here too.

We (and by that I mean me at the forefront) ran some missions. Hold up. Another thing. I had no idea I could set up missions and go ahead doing other things. Honestly. However, I learned yesterday that I could. Hence Juxs’ explanation about the passiveness of it all. I really like that. An hour later, I was dropping off because my battery was low and this is Nigeria, we have little to no power most days.

Anyway, I am inviting you to join us next week at the same time - Friday, 5PM CET. I will be giving two newbies 200,000 Starbits (100k each - thanks to @stickupcash and @clove71). If you don’t have an account, there will be no problem. We will set up one for you together (it's not that hard really). Say we have more than two newbies, I will run a draw and those who get their names picked by the wheel will get it.
