One of Warsaw's landmarks is the Syrenka monument, located in the Old Town. The statue is actually a replica of the original mermaid statue by Konstanty Hegel, which is currently housed in the Warsaw Museum.

Sadly the weather in Warsaw is not as nice these days as in these photos but amazingly there was plenty of people in the Old Town. If you’re here do visit a small church museum between the Royal Castle and the Cathedral. It also has very popular Chopin concerts every day.

It's interesting to put a replica out there in the public, and I think that is the smart decision.
I loathe mermaids but I think Warsaw is a town with beautiful sculptures and architectural structures. The perfect place for sightseeing.
The photos are beautiful. It must be really enjoyable to explore the Old Town.
