The old me was once young and dare to dream - Photofeed portrait photography round 4

Greeting everyone ,

How are you ? I hope you have a good day that better than yesterday.

THE OLD ME WAS ONCE YOUNG AND DARE TO DREAM

I have a chance to portrait a group of old people in my hometown . It was great season because it was super fun , and in same time i learn a lot from their life experience.

Most of them was born during the end of world war II. They tell a lot of story how they survive during world war II colonization . It was sad and happy story , the good happy story is they tell us how their survive and live until now. But then , there still sacrified and sad story where they see their parent and friend being killed and cant survive during the war.

The funny part is they never been photography with studio set up and this make they so excited about it. Some was afraid they didnt make good photo until they never stop asking if they do the right thing or not. Some is to afraid and too stiff when their turn. Somehow i can see the child inside the old people.

Listening about their story make realize how lucky my generation to be born after the war. Thanks to God , my parent survive and giving birth to me. But then is see they also telling the dream that they never reach . It was so sad because they didnt have long time to be alive and make sure to make the dream come true. This make me think if my dream has been achieve or it was already die.

I decided to giving chance to my dream to be alive again. But i realize that it need excitement to be spark again in my mind and that was what im going to find now. Thats why this portrait is all about the lesson from the old man that say , "THE OLD ME WAS ONCE YOUNG AND DARE TO DREAM" , has giving me a strenght to give my dream and your dream to be alive again.
