The Vast Sky (Original and Black&White Version)

It's been more than a month since my family and I moved to the countryside. The environment here really suits us. Both my parents and I enjoy gardening, going for walks, and exploring nature.

These are simple things that we could hardly do when we were living in the city. Apart from this, there's another simple thing that I've been longing to do while in the city, but always difficult to realize. And that is... taking photos of the sky without including wires. hahaha

Electric and other utility wires are crazy in the city. No matter where you position your camera, it captures them. Well, I could take clear photos of the sky without them only when I go to the beach.

However, now, the moment I step out of the house, I can see the vast sky without any wires. I love taking photos of the sky with some trees or leaves in the corner or some part of the photo.

That's why today, I'm going to share some photos I took this morning.

We live 2-3 minutes away from the road, so you can see a low-lying electric wire from afar. But it's not a disturbance to the view at all. In our previous place, they were everywhere, functioning or not. Now, let's start with the sky photos...

The sky is so blue and clear. Well, it was only in the morning, but for the rest of the day, it became gloomy... and it rained again. It wasn't bad at all. It was even comfy, but we couldn't do any garden work today, either. XD

Anyway, I've always wanted to try black and white photography, and I thought editing these photos would be a fun little experiment. So here's the black and white version! :)

They're the same photo, but the black and white version really gives off a different vibe, doesn't it? It's interesting because the sky this afternoon was similar to the black-and-white version. haha I couldn't take photos of it, though. I didn't take my phone with me when I went out this afternoon.

I wonder what the weather will be like tomorrow. Temperature-wise, it's been pretty comfortable. It's just between 23-27 degrees in my area, and that's pretty rare in this country. haha
