Last March 3, an interesting astronomical event occurred... The Blood Moon. Well, it's a total lunar eclipse where the moon appears blood red.
The last time I witnessed this phenomenon was a few years ago. I stayed overnight in my friend's house with a couple of other friends at that time because we watched the moon from the beach. I love looking at the moon. It's mesmerizing and mysterious.
Anyway, that night, I had some classes, but I kept the exact time when the blood moon appeared free. I wanted to witness it again, and since we live in the countryside, we get a clear view of the night sky. I don't have a good camera, but I tried taking photos on my smartphone (Realme 8 Pro).

These are the most decent shots my old little phone could handle. hahaha I love taking photos of the moon, so it's another reason to get a better camera in the future. XD
Were you able to witness the blood moon this year?

From the sky to the ground...
My family and I have been growing vegetables in our garden. They've been growing well, but we have yet to harvest any of them.
One of the vegetables we're growing is okra. I was a bit confused at first because the okra were really small. Usually, they'd have grown taller by now... However, I was so surprised that one afternoon, when I checked them as usual, I saw a budding flower.
That's when I realized they're the bonsai type. It wasn't specified in the seed container I bought last time; however, we used to grow them a couple of years ago... so their current size and the appearance of the flower buds make sense.
This afternoon, I took photos of some of the okra plants with tiny flower buds that are yet to bloom. Several of them have it, so here they are...

They're so cute! hahaha
After these flowers bloom and wither, the vegetable will come next! The vegetable would be on the smaller side since they're bonsai, but still good and exciting to harvest!
I still want to plant a regular okra in the future, though... So, I plan to gather some seeds when we buy regular okra from the market someday. I'll dry the vegetables and gather the seeds at the right time, just like in our previous potted garden. ^^
Anyway, I'll be sharing more photos of our garden in the coming days, especially when the vegetables start growing and getting ready for harvest! ^^
That's it for now. Thanks for checking and see you around! (^^,)/
