EID MUBARAK!
I wish all of you a happy Eid Day with your family.
Today was Eid Day for half of the world countries of the world, which is one of the major festivals for the Muslim Community. After the month of Ramadan, the Eid Al Fitr comes on the first day of Shawwal month in the Hijri Calendar. And today was also a weekend for me, but interestingly, I could not join the Eid Prayer as being living in a non-Muslim country, here the Eid Prayer will be held tomorrow morning and most probably, I will not be able join as tomorrow will be my working day and we will have have our weekly group meeting of our research group, which is generally a busy day for me than other days.
However, I have made my Eid day a great one by visiting some scenic places in downtown Beijing. The weather is good today, with clean air and a bright, sunny day. Though the temperature was not as high as this week, the temperature has decreased a little. Hopefully, it will increase in the following week as winter is finally going to end, and spring is here. I went to Beijing City at noon, around 1 pm, and it was quite a busy day for the residents of Beijing also, as I saw a lot of people traveling in the fantastic weather. I will write about my travel in detail later in my travel blog in the coming days, and today, I want to share the rainbow that I have explored in the scenic spot in the woods.
After I had taken my lunch and breakfast, I left my dormitory around 11:00 a.m. and reached downtown after 1 and a half hours as there was some traffic on the road. Though I had chosen the faster expressway, due to the holiday, there was some heavy traffic at some points on the route. After I have get out from the subway station I have walked for half an hour to reach the scenic spot from where I have taken these photos of the beautiful rainbow.
As we know, the rainbow is created with the diffraction of the sunlight for some interaction of the sun rays and water molecules in the air. The most interesting fact is that the rainbow is not possible to explore if your position to look at the rainbow from the right direction. Also, the location and the direction of sun ray can enhance the depth of the color of the rainbow. I was happy to explore it as it was quite deep in the color of the rainbow though some of them are not so clear as some of them were at longer distance.
I hope you like my photos of the beautiful rainbow in the woods. It is not a natural one, as the formation was due to the leakage in the irrigation pipes under the bright sun, which made several rainbows there from different directions when I explored. If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them as much as I can afford.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wish you a good day!
I took all the photos, and these are my own property.
Thanks!
Happy celebration
Enjoy your week
Thanks!
