There are many water channels that are not rivers, and they are built artificially for the irrigation system in the Huairou district. Also, you can find such channels almost everywhere in the northern region where I live. Most of the time, these channels originate from the large water reservoirs and lakes in the mountain region of the northern region, with an amazing capacity for water storage.
Some of these lakes are immensely large, and it is difficult to see the other side of the lake, like Miyun Lake, which is the largest water reservoir in Beijing. Besides so many channels, some rivers also originate from this lake, and the longest river in the region that covers the whole of Beijing and Tianjin, and ends in the East China Sea from this large lake.
Usually, you can find a road alongside these water channels or rivers in this area, with protection from a fence, and often the water flow with high tides is noticed during the operation of opening the water gate for irrigation several times a year. The natural surroundings are also beautiful for such a water channel, as you can see in these pictures. All of these pictures are in raw format without any further editing or modification, like color adjustments or other effects.
I hope you like my photos of the beautiful, scenic views of the natural surroundings, including canals, in the Huairou district, where I often enjoy outdoor activities alongside these beautiful roads that cover almost all the rivers and canals in the district. The weather was so comfortable, with fresh, pure oxygen and cooler temperatures, making it a great time to explore nature during my outdoor adventure. If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will do my best to answer them.
Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.
Wishing you a good day!
I took all the photos, and these are my own property.
