Outdoor Winter In Beijing

The winter weather has improved so much in Beijing over the last 5 years, which is now visible in front of me. The weather is amazingly clean nowadays, even in this winter, while it faced sandstorms in 2019 when I first came to China, and the air quality is top-notch almost every day here. Winter is in full swing in my area, and this week is the coldest so far this winter, with a daytime high of -6 degrees and a feel like -9 degrees Celsius, which is terribly cold for me at 2 pm. The maximum temperature will be sub-zero degrees centigrade during these days, but the days will be very sunny, and I recently had a gentle walk in the area around my home.

This excellent weather, with clean air and bright sun, is a welcome contrast to the colourless winter as no leaves and no green is visible in the nature here. But this freezing cold still has a different vibe that can be explored in the surrounding nature. The dried trees are seen everywhere and any of them seems dark in colors. The naked branches of these winter trees seem to reveal a different beauty, and the deep blue sky makes them look even better, as you can see in the pictures.

Though I don't do too much outdoor activities as the outside weather is so cold to tolerate. Often the temperature remains around -10 degrees Celsius even in the noon and afternoon time of the day. But I always love walking in such great weather, and I enjoy the clean air and fresh oxygen. It is also true that the freezing cold made me tired so quickly, and I had to return to my dormitory before my fatigue became severe. But such short walking in the winter made me active, as in the winter time I usually remain very lazy, which is also true now!

I hope you enjoy my photos of the beautiful views of the winter natural surroundings in the northern parts of Beijing, and these natural scenes are beautiful in the winter. The winter is really a different attraction in this area with a completely different level of natural beauty that attracts me a lot to explore the nature. If you have any queries, let me know in the comments, and I will try my best to answer them as much as I can.

Thanks a lot for your time and attention. I will catch up with you at the next one.

Wishing you a good day!

I took all the photos, and these are my own property.
