In this museum, works of outstanding international artists are housed, there are treasured pieces of the Italian and Flemish Renaissance, Spanish Baroque works, and in general covers the European painting of the nineteenth and eighteenth century.

En este Museo, se albergan obras de destacados artistas internacionales, ahí atesoran piezas del Renacimiento italiano y flamenco, obras del Barroco Español, y en general abarca la pintura europea del siglo XIX y XVIII.

Another really impressive thing about this place is the architecture, a real jewel...it is art in its purest form, from the foundations.

A primera instancia tropezamos con un área particular, y esa fue la de las ruinas romanas y griegas, apreciamos bastantes vasijas y jarrones de diferentes épocas y períodos, algunos comprendidos entre los primeros años del siglo II a.n.e. y comienzos del siglo V n.e. incluían también algo de la época Paleocristiana, muy bonitos, interesantes y bien conservados.

Then climbing a little we found the sculptures and I must admit that they are impressive, some stood out for their good finish and others on the contrary had that magic of being incomplete or broken ... it is still great to see how in stone in those times they were capable of such works. Well anyway, after enjoying these areas of which I can not forget the Egyptian sarcophagus we went to the next step, which was the German painting, with excellent exponents of that school, here are some photos of the works that I liked the most.

Bueno en fin, luego de disfrutar esas áreas de la cuál no puedo olvidar el sarcófago egipcio fuimos al siguiente peldaño, que fue la pintura Alemana, con excelentes exponentes de dicha escuela, aquí tienen algunas fotos de las obras que más me gustaron.

Seguimos recorriendo y analizando, la verdad es que este lugar es un campo santo para mi que soy artista, pues me entrego a la calma y ansiedad que desprende cada obra, y me pierdo entre la trama del lienzo, la pinceladas, texturas y los pensamientos de cómo aplicaron cada técnica que el lienzo me intenta revelar...

It is a delight to find works from the workshops of Rubens, El Greco, Velázquez, Madrazo, Bouguereau and many others.
