Christmas is coming again [EN/PT]
Yesterday, I made up the lame excuse that I needed to go to the grocery store, but I really just needed to get out and take a walk. It was raining a little, so it wasn't exactly the best weather to go outside, and, well, while passing by a store in my neighborhood, I saw these Christmas decorations, which reminded me once again that we are already reaching the end of another year.
Time has been passing way too fast, much faster than I would like. This Christmas atmosphere brings back some memories that I'm not even sure are really pleasant at the moment, but I know it is a time that many people look forward to.
I like seeing the city changing and taking on a different atmosphere, and seeing those decorations in the store window actually surprised me. There are still 3 months to go. But I know many people like to decorate their homes well in advance, and I found myself wondering if I should do the same here for the first time in my new home.
Well, I guess I walked a little too slowly that day and the grocery store was already closed. Thankfully, I didn't actually need to buy anything.

Ontem eu dei uma desculpa esfarrapada de que precisava ir ao mercado, mas eu apenas precisava dar uma volta na rua. Estava chovendo um pouco, não era o melhor clima para poder sair e, bem, passando por uma loja aqui do meu bairro, vi esses enfeites de Natal, o que me fez lembrar o quanto estamos mais uma vez no final de mais um ano.
O tempo tem passado rápido demais, mas rápido demais do que eu gostaria. Esse clima de Natal acaba trazendo algumas lembranças que nem sei se são realmente agradáveis nesse momento, mas sei que é um perÃodo aguardado por muitos.
Gosto de ver a cidade se reconfigurando e ver esses enfeites na vitrine até me surpreendeu, ainda faltam 3 meses. Mas sei que muitas pessoas gostam de enfeitar suas casas bem antes e fiquei pensando se deveria fazer isso aqui pela primeira vez na minha casa nova.
Bem, acho que nesse dia andei devagar demais e o mercado já estava fechado, ainda bem que eu não precisava comprar nada.
