Between Cows, Beer and Nostalgia [EN/PT]

A few weekends ago, I went to visit my cousins, who live in the same city as I do, but I hadn't seen them in quite some time. Even though their neighborhood is part of my city, it is farther away, practically a rural area, and on that very weekend when I visited them, there was a country festival taking place there.

It had been many years since I had gone to a party like that, and it instantly reminded me of my childhood and teenage years, which were filled with this kind of entertainment. I'm not a big fan of these kinds of parties, but it's impossible not to feel a certain sense of nostalgia.

Well, I took some pictures of a few cows that day and drank quite a lot of beer. And thank goodness I didn't take any pictures of myself, because I was pretty drunk and I'm sure I gave my cousins plenty of reasons to laugh. The next day, we had some good stories to tell, and plenty of laughter became part of our breakfast.

Alguns finais de semana atrás, fui visitar meus primos que moram na mesma cidade que eu, porém não os via há algum tempo. Apesar de ser um bairro aqui da minha cidade, esse bairro é mais distante, praticamente uma região rural, e justamente nesse final de semana em que os visitei, estava acontecendo uma festa country no local.

Tinha muitos anos que eu não ia a alguma festa desse tema e isso me lembrou quase que instantaneamente da minha adolescência e infância, que eram regadas a esse tipo de entretenimento. Não sou um grande fã desse tipo de festa, mas é inevitável não sentir uma certa nostalgia.

Bem, tirei algumas fotos de umas vacas nesse dia e tomei muitas cervejas. E que bom que não tirei fotos de mim, pois estava bem embriagado e com certeza fiz meus primos rirem bastante. No outro dia, boas histórias foram contadas e gargalhadas fizeram parte do nosso café da manhã.
