Vancouver City in the night.

(edited)

Just before sunset, we decided to bring out the drone and capture some shots of the area. Once the sun had set, our plan was to wait a bit and then take photos of Vancouver at night, all lit up in the dark.

For those of you who don’t know, we’ll be staying in Vancouver for a few days to catch up with some friends. After that, we’ll be heading back up north. We enjoyed our time in Alaska so much that we’ve decided to do another season there. This time, we’ll be going all the way back to Kodiak, which is roughly 1,300 nautical miles from here in a straight line.

Just before the sun got away, this is what we got:

With a little bit of tweaking and adjusting to looks pretty good, let me know what you think of Vancouver.

After dinner, we brought it out again to photograph the city glowing in the dark—it looked incredible.
