Swimming with the whale sharks

I did different pose underwater together with the whale sharks. Its more fun in the philippines.

Hello to my fellow hivers. We rent a car and Travel to oslob around 5am in the morning together with my friends and my neighbor's. The intrance fee is different for the locals and foreigner's. For us as a locals the intrance fee for swimming or watching is 500 php in philippine money and if i convert to US dollar its 9 dollars and its only good for 30 minutes only.

It was early in the morning that we arrived in tan awan oslob its southern part of cebu. This place is very popular for tourist atraction since the whale sharks here are harmless to humans. The feeding time for the whale sharks starts at 6am until 11am in the morning.

The boatman feeding the sharks with a small shrimps so the sharks will always close to the boat and thats the time we swam and the boatman taking photos of us underwater. The rent for go pro is around 550 philippine money or 10 dollars.

I've been here before wayback 2016 the intrance fee before is 300 for watching and 500 for swimming with the whale sharks and now its a littlebit different for the intrance fee for both locals and foreigners.

When i swam close to the whale sharks i have mixed emotion with excitement and i felt so nervous at the same time. Because the whale sharks around us are huge in size and if i compared myself to them im way too small to the sharks. It also suddenly pop up behind our back and we felt nervous everytime the sharks open their mouth. We both laugh and overthink that what if we swallowed by sharks in accident.

We are so grateful that the sharks there are friendly and used to accompany with humans. I have so much fun of swimming and seeing them underwater eventhough i am scared of them at the same time. It was the best feeling ever that i experienced of ecountered with the whale sharks.
