In my city, the winter dawn reminds me of some I experienced in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Cloudy, misty, and cold, sometimes beginning with a light drizzle. This is how the dawn I'm showing you was, and it occasionally wet my phone's camera.

The cold made it clear how few people were on an avenue normally used for exercise. The people who usually jog to stay healthy or lose weight were nowhere to be seen, but there was an icy wind that made my teeth chatter a little from the dampness.

Sunrises on this island are almost always humid, and in winter this humidity becomes dangerous because it allows the cold to penetrate to the bones even though the temperatures are not as low as in cold countries.

Luckily, a brave soul appeared who, despite the passage of time, didn't abandon his daily routine. It's good to know that there are still people who are persistent in doing what they love.

El frío dejaba claro la poca presencia de personas en una avenida que normalmente se utiliza para la práctica deportiva. las personas que normalmente trotan para mantener su salud o bajar de peso no aparecían, pero si un viento gélido que me hacia temblar un poco los dientes por la humedad.

Los amaneceres en esta isla, casi siempre son húmedos y en tiempo de invierno esta humedad se vuelve peligrosa pues permite que el frio cale hasta los huesos a pesar de que las temperaturas no sean tan bajas como en los países fríos.

Por suerte apareció un valiente que a pesar del tiempo, no eliminó su rutina diaria. Es bueno saber que aun existen personas persistentes en lo que les gusta hacer.

Con el paso de los minutos y más entrado el inicio de la mañana, comenzaron a aparecer diferentes vehículos y personas en bicicletas, pero todavía eran pocas.

El parque de la zona, muestra todavía la soledad que nos embarga con el invierno.
