How cutting expenses made me hoard.

I enjoy being a fashionista, and it's not about winning people's attention or forcing heads to turn in my direction. I just love looking great always; it boosts my confidence and makes me happy genuinely.

When it comes to looking good, I pay attention to every detail, and growing older hasn't changed anything about my love for beauty. My hair, nails, and every other part of my body are always involved; I ensure nothing is left out.

The funny thing is how much attention I give to my hair despite still covering it because of my religion and belief. It is not an obsession but a natural thing for me, and in the course of staying beautiful while cutting costs, I have purchased an item that ends up just sitting in my box. Initially, I don't spend too much money on looking beautiful because I am naturally blessed; I just do a few touches here and there, which sometimes doesn't come cheap.

I started buying some of the equipment used at the salon, and they were really helpful. I can do a few things to my hair at home; it saves me money and time of sitting and waiting for turns at the salon. There are times when I have impromptu outings; I just grab whatever I need from my box to beautify myself.

I graduated from hair to doing my makeup; it was a disaster at first, but with time, things got better. It is a simple touch, so it's always nothing serious. After successfully reducing my expenses at the salon, I thought the same could be done with my nails.

I paid attention to the nail technician every time I visited and decided to buy one piece of equipment I thought did the biggest job on nails. I checked for it online and ordered it; the LED/UV lamp wasn't expensive at that time.

The delivery arrived, and I was very happy about it. I thought I had cut my expenses in that area until working on my nails myself wasn't satisfying, and I had to stick to the technician.

I wanted to give the LED/UV lamp out but can't just let go. My roommate uses it once in a while, but I prefer just going to the technician place to do everything that's needed.

A friend called my attention to the risk of using a UV lamp due to a circulating video online that says the lamp is capable of killing cells and causing skin cancer. I stopped using it at the technician's place since the person who shared the information is a health expert.

I still have the lamp, though, still packed like new, and I might just sell it off since the price has gone up from the last time I bought it. Aside from this lamp, I don't think I have any other things in my possession that I don't use.

I captured my images.

I am always cautious about anything I want to buy because having my place cluttered doesn't make me feel good.

I love when people especially ladies take out time to look good, not too expensive but something simple. I love natural beauty because you wouldn’t want to spend much on it except you are that person who don’t give a damn about the expenses.

There are things we buy thinking we might use them more but eventually are there just lying down and not doing what we need it for. I hope you find a buyer for your lamp and more so, one has to be careful when it comes to our body and health.

Looking good should be a regular thing for every lady and it's one of the ways to appreciate our bodies. We have to be careful too, not all equipment should have contact to our body but we use them out of ignorance.
