The new year means a new beginning, and it comes to us with positive vibes. Last year could be bad, but the new year comes to us with hope, and we believe that this year is going to be a good one, or if the last year was good, then we believe this year is going to be the best one. But it does not like to restart or reset. From the last year, we can continue many things in this year also because of our own benefit, and again, at the same time, we can stop doing something for our betterment.
What's to carry on in the new year and what's to leave is indeed necessary to think thoughtfully about, and as a minimalist, it's very important. In my case there are not so many things to leave, but I have many things to carry on even in this new year.

A positive mindset is something that is very helpful to enjoy a peaceful and happy life. Thinking about a happy life without such a mindset is impossible. It is something that really helps to protect from negative energy. It does not matter how difficult and troublesome a situation I face; I can figure out some positivity from the situation, and that is the thing that leads me in the right direction. Thinking negatively can harm me a lot, but because of my positive mentality, I can avoid the stress and many other difficulties. That is something I want to carry not only this year but also all the remaining years of my life.
I am a very hardworking person when I am determined to do something, and I am also kind of stubborn in such a case. When I decide to do something, I give my best to make it happen, and this is something for which I am very proud, and even to make it happen, I can compromise with many other things. Because of my stubbornness, I can't stop in the middle; it may harm me from some other perspective, but it's very good for me to achieve my goal. So still I want to carry on with it, and in the upcoming days I will let it go flatly because I want to get a job this year.

Talking less or keeping quiet is something I like most. I have a reason for keeping quiet in most situations. It's because I am a secret box, and a lot of secrets exist in my mind. I love to keep everything hidden from everyone. I am just like that, and if I talk a lot, there is a chance of revealing some of the secrets. A talkative person can't keep secrets because accidentally many times they share the secret while talking. It's hard for them to keep secrets. Considering my personality, I think I need to carry on with my old style; I mean, keep quiet and keep observing. Speak a little when necessary. This is a worthy one to continue.
Let's talk about some habits I want to or am going to leave or change this year. The first thing in my list is my sleep. I think that last year was a time when my sleeping time was reduced a lot, and improper sleeping time is not good for health. My sleeping time was disturbed a lot last year because of various kinds of reasons, but fortunately, my body didn't collapse. But I believe I won't be lucky every time, and I cannot gamble with my health. So this year I must leave the habit of going to sleep late.

Last year was the year when I started watching K-dramas and C-dramas. I was very aggressive while watching drama for a certain time, and I believe that it killed my productivity during that time. From time to time, I reduced the time of watch dramas. I won't stop watching dramas, but I will make sure not to spend too much time on them because they can directly impact my health and productivity, and it's a loss from both sides, and I want to leave such an unhealthy practice this year.

I am just like you here. Both the sleep and reducing screen time are important. Though, I didn’t let anything affect my sleep last year and I enjoyed it, I am going the same way again but this time around, with a little bit of a difference. Lack of productivity can ruin a lot and we need to be disciplined on it.
I can clearly remember that I replied to this once. How the reply didn't show up here.
Indeed, both of us need to reduce our screentime. We should be concerned about health. I already started to take control of my sleeping time.
