When love is built on less, it becomes stronger and more real.

Good day, amazing people of Hive Blockchain. Welcome back to my blog. It is another edition in the #minimalist community topic: What if love didn’t need more, only less? Reflect on how simplifying our emotional expectations or social circles might deepen intimacy and authenticity.

I am of the ideology that love doesn't need more because love becomes deeper, beautiful and meaningful when we don't demand much if only we can go away with unnecessary pressure and clearly understand who we want to connect with.

One thing I find out in our present-day relationship is pressure all over social media; you will see people overstress themselves all because of love, which I find overwhelming, but when we go for less, we reduce unnecessary expectations, accepting people for who they are rather than who they want to be. Until we understand that when love is less, there lies true love, then you will realise that there is no need to impress.

In the world we find ourselves in today, everyone is seriously hustling to make money. Money is one of the powerful things in the world. With money, you can be able to live a comfortable life. It is normal for people to chase money; you can still have all the money and still not be happy. Most times, we keep chasing money and forget to give ourselves a good treat.

What if love didn't need more, only less? In the generation we find ourselves in today, we think that the only language love understands is expending more, showing more attention, and having more people. Most times, all this creates pressure, stress and noise. If love really means less, it will be so beautiful and simple; everything about love will be real and not built on things you can't achieve.

I always tell people that love doesn't grow by adding more demand; rather, it grows when you remove things that are not important. We fail to understand that true love doesn't need much; with less, you can make your relationship sweet and beautiful. In our generation we see love as a performance; we spend more and post online. If only we could understand that love doesn't need more, but less. Many relationships are struggling today because of too much demand.

I am in a relationship where our love didn't need more, only less, to be honest with you. The relationship is really wonderful because everything about it is real, with no pressure. I am not pursuing illusions to impress my partner; I am not competing with anything or anyone. We are taking life just the way it is. One thing about love is once you start expecting too much, the love may feel like a task.

When you say 'love is simple', it means accepting the fact that nobody is perfect. With that mindset, you won't be expecting much; rather, it will strengthen the love. It will help you build trust.

When love is built on less, it becomes stronger and more real.
