Some Great Rock N' Roll and a Bonus Christmas Tune for TTT!
This week the Christmas holiday is coming up and so I assumed many people would be sharing their Three Tune Tuesdays with Christmas songs. I considered it as well, but to be honest, I'm not just not in the mood to day. When I was younger I used to love the holiday, but as an adult I just don't enjoy it nearly as much. Not to mention gift giving can get expensive, and it seems rampant consumerism has taken over the season.
So today I'm just going with some fun rock n' roll with no theme, rhyme or reason!
But first off I want to say thank you to @ablaze for starting and continuing to sponsor this fun weekly event where you can share three songs that you enjoy. At the last second, after hearing @geneeverett 's TTT, I did add a Christmas song he shared on his TTT. It was just too good not to throw in. Plus I can now say I'm in the Christmas spirit. Thanks Gene!
ZZ Top
This iconic and legendary band formed in Houston, Texas in 1969, before I was even born. For 51 years they had the same lineup of Billy Gibbons on guitar and vocals, Dusty Hill on bass, and Frank Beard on drums. What's ironic is the Frank had no beard despite his last name! The lineup only changed upon the death of Hill in 2021, but for almost any band that is one of the most stable lineups there ever was. In the early 70's they established themselves as a solid rock band with great performances and several hit songs.
In 1983 they released Eliminator where they tweaked their sound to fit into the early 80's scene and found worldwide success. One of the biggest hits off the record was this classic "Sharp Dressed Man":
Guns N' Roses
This legendary band formed in 1985 in Los Angeles, California. They achieved world wide fame in 1987 with the release of their debut album Appetite for Destruction. Throughout all of the fame and high energy concerts they were plagued by drug and alcohol abuse that eventually would tear the band apart. However, they did make some memorable and catchy tunes that are still fun to listen to even today. Here is their first big hit "Paradise City":
The Cult
This rock band from Bradford, England formed in 1983 and picked up a following in the UK with their debut album. Their third album, Electric (1987), was a huge seller in both Europe and the US, with several hits charting on both sides of the pond. They have always been one of my personal favorite bands and they put on a great show. Here's a song off of Electric called "Lil' Devil", it a lot of fun!
No Doubt
I love this Orange County band from Anaheim, and after hearing this song in Gene's post I'm adding it in here too. It's a really cool cover of the The Vandals, another band from Orange County, but it's Christmas themed and fun. This is "Oi To The World", and I think @tengolotodo would enjoy this one!

But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone

No, that has been going on for a long time in music, even before they came along. It did break up the band when they were at their peak and could have produced some more great music if they could have got along.

But from the diorama that I have seen, some of the rich people and the royal families during the colonialism here in Bali, there were alread some drug going, maybe back then they called it opium.

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone

If you didn't know I've been getting downvoted for a long time on Hive
They have been trying to bully me with downvotes and words but it doesn't affect me I've been online for over 25 years
So I've dealt with people like this before it's nothing new
But what they are doing is bad Very badi joined steemit like everyone else thinking it offers freedom but I must say steemit offered much more freedom than Hive does
Everyone already knows I only post my own original content I have no need to steal anything from anyone
