Hello Hello to all you wonderful Hivians and music lovers
I was listening to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy over the weekend and of course have 42 in my head.
Then I saw that this week is 144 of ttt!
It got me thinking about numbers and in case 4.
Do you know .... 4/4 means there are 4 beats in each measure and a quarter note receives one count?
Well you might or you might not, or more likely you don't really give a shit, just play the goddamn tunes I hear you day!
It is Tuesday and that of course means that it's #ttt or #threetunetuesday and so it's time to share some tunes with you!
I am sure from the title some people will know the songs but for the youngsters I am not so sure!
As you know I love drawing in inspiration from many places for my three tune tuesday post.
@ablaze started #ttt 144 weeks ago! Go check out what it is all about on his latest post The National for Three Tune Tuesday - Week 143 - 12 HBI shares to be won!
Do go support @ablaze as without him we would not have this mental fun musical activity that you can win HSBI from! I am happy to be one of the TWELVE sponsors and it is kinda fun checking out music from all over this global village of ours!
Today we are going to play three songs that I would not have thought had anything in common.
Today we are going to play three bands that I would not have thought had anything in common.
So for some of this, Highway to Hell is an absolute banger of a tune from one of the greatest groups of All Time..
The single was from the album of the same name.
Malcolm and Angus Young developed the idea for the band's name after their sister Margaret pointed out the symbol "AC/DC" on the AC adapter of her sewing machine. A.C./D.C. is an abbreviation for alternating current/direct current electricity. The brothers felt that this name symbolised the band's raw energy and the power-driven performances of their music.

What better way than to hear it live! This was recorded at Live At River Plate, December 2009. It has over 600 million views, just imagine that if it was our own content views.
Back to the swinging 60s we go and The Monkees performing I'm A Believer.
Did you know the song was actually written by Neil Diamond and recorded by American band the Monkees in 1966 and got to Number 1 in thelast week ofDecember 1966?
No me neither.
A definite earworm though!
How on earth can I mix this up even more ?
This is Disco music lol!
A song from the movie Saturday Night Fever released in 1977 and this is another classic.
The opening lyrics ...
Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk
I'm a woman's man, no time to talk
It gets better with time I think!
As with many other artists during the 1970s, the Bee Gees recorded most of the soundtrack in France for tax reasons.
Note: The three four YouTube videos that I have shared are not owned by me, I am simply spreading great music on Hive.
I wish that you all have a brilliant rest of your week, and until we meet again enjoy your tunes πΆπ΅πΆ

That first song scared the bunnies out of me!!! Ohhhh wow!!! Iβm a believer!!! I heard that song on Shrek!!! Iβm so adding this to my playlist because thereβs no way Iβm going to hell! Hahaha. Get the joke? π
But Iβm so Stayinβ Alive baby!!! Woooohooo! And youβre definitely womanβs man. lol. Charm charm charm their pants off.
We can try to understand
The New York Times effect on men!!
Stayinβ Alive would always he a favourite of mine. And then Iβm a Believer. The Highway to Hell? Not so much. I do find their energy despite their age very heartwarminh though. That Guy without the shirt is something π
Hehe I knew you would love the last two and I almost tagged you as I thought they would perk you up :)
Hehe The joke yes I almost made it in the post!
Yep, I think I'm one of the youngsters cos I don't know these bands but great tunes and nice addition of the fun fact boss boss
Hehe I can see you dancing away to Stayin Alive! Good morning Becky, I hope you have a terrific week!
ππ yes yes that's how it is boss boss...we gotta stay alive
Three great choices, Ed. Brightened up my morning, no end! I have to admit, that while I enjoy the Monkees' version of I am a Believer, I prefer Neil Diamond's. Having heard him sing it live, to....
As for Staying Alive: memories from a g*d awful school dance in 1979.... lol
Hehe I did think you would like the second and third one and you saw Neil Diamond sing live Fiona! That is pretty cool.
Hehe ah school dances π€£
Yip, the Neil Diamond concert was amazing. That said, I have, and probably will dance and sing loudly - again - to Highway to Hell!!
Hmmm . As an Aussie I'm going to say Acca Dacca, but I'm not actually a fan π
Oh yeah Acca Dacca, sometimes the Scots claim as them being Scottish too. I have to respect what they did, but they were not always on my playlists so to speak!
Good numbers to call out from back then, makes for neat header too!

I did know that about I'm a Believer, but I am a huge Neil Diamond fan, so that makes sense. He also wrote the song Red Red Wine that UB40 made popular in the 90's or whenever it was. Great selection of songs this week!
Muy buen post felicidades!!!
Great selection, I like them all, even if they are all different. Long live the #ttt

YES, some ACDC! !LUV
Great selection. Lot of the "good old stuff" this week, makes me smile. Actually, aren't the Young brothers originally from Scotland? Also makes for a nice connection to you :-)
Three songs I love but don't blend all that well except for the date! Awesome picks!

Never got into the Monkees, but I did take a couple edibles once and watch that trippy movie they did with Jack Nicholson directing. Love me some AC/DC πΈ
