As I said in a previous post, today I would like to talk about the band The Prodigy. On the side. The story of course begins in the 90s so let's go back in time to the suburbs of Essex where the seed of this musical revolution was planted by one person, the musical genius behind his songs was Liam Howlett.
A guy who would shake the foundations of the music industry, a guy with a clear vision who loved deep bass and who loved experimenting, he was obsessed with electronic music, but he was also a punk through and through and in those years he formed an alliance with Keith Flin and the great Leeroy Thornhill.
Early years
"Experience" (1992)
- Their first album, which turned them into leaders of the British rave scene (was it Techno, was it Breakbeat, was it Reggae, was it Punk?), whatever it was, it was a fresh sound that defended an era
Featured songs
Consecration
"Music for the Jilted Generation" (1994)
- Two years later they released a second album that is much darker and politically charged, but with the same level of intensity and the fact is that the guys created hymns of youth resistance songs, these 3 hung up were going uphill
Featured songs
- No Good (Start the Dance)
"The Fat of the Land" (1997)
- This album catapulted The Prodigy to worldwide fame and it's also what I was listening to in clubs when I was 23. The album was hugely successful and helped popularize electronic music in the United States, becoming a reference for bands and DJs around the world.
Featured songs
"Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned"
- Howlett continued to front the group, although the band went through changes in its line-up and direction. Later albums such as Invaders Must Die (2009) and The Day Is My Enemy (2015) continue The Prodigy's signature sound, albeit with less impact compared to their early work.
2019 arrived, the year of ease, the death of Keith Flin, a blow to what was the banner of the band, perhaps his musical contribution was not much, but it was the image, the voice, the power, the energy, the punk and apart from live performances and compilations they have not released any more things, you understand the truth,
Well gentlemen, that's it for today, so tomorrow more and better

Thank you!!
Now this was a very very very very very very very very brief talk about one of the greatest modern bands out there, !LOLZ. (And I see no attitude or personal opinion behind the YT video links... which is a bad thing for the blog). Well, anyway. Maybe it helps to "arise awereness", as they say.
PS
"Music for the Jilted Generation" (1994) is my fave Prodigy album, I consider it to be definitely one of the best LPs of 90-es (if not the #1).

I have a problem when I put the YouTube link. The problem is that the video can't be seen on my blog, only on YouTube, so I always look for the ones that can be seen, but if you tell me that doing that would be detrimental to me, then I will only put the originals even if they can't be seen on my blog, but on YouTube. Thanks for the information, friend.
What do you suggest I do?
