Tribute to the best rock bands, today is: "Metalica"

Good evening, today I want to talk to you about the most influential band in rock and of course I'm talking about the group Metallica. The group was formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by Lars Ulrich and guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield, and they are the first to introduce thrash metal.

And with that, we begin.

The albums that made this band successful

• In its early days, the group was pure youthful energy mixed with pure aggression. Their first album, "Kill 'Em All" (1983), with songs like "Seek & Destroy" and "Whiplash", was pure thrash metal.

• "Master of Puppets" (1986) is a beastly album that criticizes addiction and control. In this album you can see how dark the lyrics and aggressiveness are. On songs like "Master of Puppets" critics consider it a masterpiece in its genre.

• "…And Justice for All" (1988): This album is more technical and dark, with long and complex songs. The almost total absence of bass in the mix (after the death of bassist Cliff Burton and the addition of Jason Newsted) has been a recurring topic of discussion among fans.

• And after so much darkness and non-commercial songs they released the album "Metallica" (The Black Album) (1991) since the pressure from their record company demanded that they be something more commercial to reach a wider audience, and songs like "Enter Sandman", "Sad but True" and "The Unforgiven" achieved it.

Metallica has had a massive impact not only on heavy metal music, but on popular culture in general. They are one of the few metal bands to have managed to maintain a commercially successful career for over four decades, and are renowned for their ability to stay relevant across different eras of music.

For me, Metallica has evolved, being able to integrate aggressiveness with sophistication and continue at the top after nothing more and nothing less than 40 years, and I consider them an essential part of the metal and rock world.
