Better be careful there with the nest. It's good to find an alternative entrance to the forest for now. Good thing you have a lovely neighborhood that makes walking more fun. What an adorable squirrel too. Do have a lovely month ahead.

Thanks! And sorry I wasn't very responsive the last few weeks ago, I hate typing replies or anything really on my phone (although im doing that right now).
The nest was taken car of, so starting tomorrow, we should be able to go into our forest normally. And yes, the neighborhood is a great place to fall back on when the forest is guarded by stinging insects!
