Through the valleys of Minas Gerais [EN/PT]

Around the small town I visited this weekend, my drone and I explored some interesting places. It's something I truly love doing, taking my drone with me to explore the areas around wherever I happen to be, especially when I'm visiting somewhere for the first time.

It was interesting to explore this particular location because it was so isolated from the urban area. It took us almost two hours to reach the house where we stayed. With my drone, I was able to see just how isolated we really were, surrounded by small forests and an incredible valley right where the road we were on passed through. Being able to observe everything from this angle is truly a privilege, something that only advances in technology can provide. I often wonder how many things past generations missed out on because of this, but that's a topic for another time.

Anyway, I really enjoy being able to do this, and I still have some photos saved for another post, featuring a few buildings I came across during this trip. Some of them are beautiful, standing in the middle of nowhere, while others have been abandoned and carry a somewhat eerie atmosphere. It will be fun to share those places in another post soon as well. That's all for now, see you next time!

Nos arredores da cidadezinha onde fui neste final de semana, eu e meu drone exploramos alguns lugares interessantes. É uma coisa que amo verdadeiramente, levar o drone para explorar os lugares ao redor de onde estou, principalmente quando faço visitas pela primeira vez.

Foi interessante poder explorar esse local em particular por ser um lugar muito isolado da zona urbana. Para chegar até a casa onde ficamos, demoramos quase 2 horas. Com o drone, pude ver o quanto realmente estávamos isolados, com pequenas florestas e um vale incrível bem no local por onde passa a estrada onde estávamos. Poder observar tudo desse ângulo é realmente um privilégio, algo que somente o avanço da tecnologia pode proporcionar. Fico pensando em quantas coisas as gerações passadas perderam por causa disso, mas esse é um papo para outra hora.

Enfim, gosto muito de poder fazer isso e ainda tenho algumas fotos separadas para um outro post, com algumas construções que encontrei nessa viagem. Algumas são lindas, no meio do nada, enquanto outras estão abandonadas e trazem um ar meio fantasmagórico. Vai ser legal poder postar sobre isso também em breve. No mais, é isso, até a próxima!
