Hooked On Hive: Memories That Followed!

I've been part of this vibrant community for three years now and counting. My journey on Hive didn't happen by chance; it was a deliberate choice, and I've never regretted it whatsoever. I joined through a referral, took and I'm thrilled to say it's been an incredible ride. Although there have been some challenging times, they're part of the growth journey.

I say this often:

Joining Hive is one of my best decisions ever, and I'm not just saying that because of the rewards, which have been pretty good, by the way. Nah! 😀 It's the beautiful connections I've made - strangers who became friends, the learning opportunities, the growth, and the fact that I have complete ownership of my account and contents too - that's truly priceless.

Prior to joining Hive, I had some knowledge about blockchain-based blogging, but it was somehow a whole new experience here. Unique ecosystem with diverse communities, projects, and languages – it's like navigating a universe with endless possibilities. And... I love the fact that there's a community for everyone. All you have to do is explore! I must say that it's been awesome exploring and feeling part of this space.

As for my role on Hive, I'm just a passionate user who's all about creating and sharing value, building connections and contributing to the growth of the ecosystem. Basically, I publish contents, engage with fellow creators, and support communities and projects that resonate with me.

My first post came almost three months after I joined, and that was my introductory post. I think I got my first upvote from the post, including some beautiful comments, which encouraged me more.

However, the post that has ever remained etched in my memory is this post, where I shared about the Leofinance.io now Inleo.io microblogging platform - Threads. I was so hooked on Threads - I still am, that I couldn't help but share my experience with it. The post generated massive upvotes, and amazing comments which are still most treasured till date.

In fact, the post has been my most rewarded post since being here on Hive, and I was filled with excitement when I saw the value, $75.51

In fact, I couldn't imagine a newbie like me earning such a huge reward on my post. It was unbelievable! 😅 Well, that post was really a deal breaker for me!

My first HBD earnings didn't go into treating myself or taking care of one stuff or the other, rather, it went right into my HP. I had set my payout reward at 100% HP because I needed to grow my Hive power because I'm here for the long run! Interestingly, I haven't powered down since then.

However, It was after several months that I took out a part of my HBD earnings, but I don't seem to remember what I spent it on. Lol.

And when the #SpendHBD project kicked off in my city, I jumped in, shopping for groceries, essentials, and more with HBD. It was a game-changer – it felt amazing to shop with crypto! The convenience, the freedom, the whole experience was new and exhilarating. It was like stepping into the future of shopping, and I loved it! I wish it hadn't gone the way it did.
