Meeting Up With My First Savings Goal - Phone Photography Contest 134

Hello friends, I'm happy to participate in another contest for the week. I'm so excited to share my savings goal achievement with you all. So last year, a good friend of mine @ozibaby told me about a seamless savings plan she does on her phone. When you subscribe to it, it automatically deducts an amount you would like to save, and you can choose how you want it to be removed. There's an option for daily, weekly, or monthly payments.

I decided to try with a very small amount that was deducted daily from my account. The money was so insignificant that I didn't even notice that something was being set aside for me. The good news is that I checked the app yesterday and saw a congratulations message stating that I've completed my "restock savings target". I was so happy that I shared it to my WhatsApp status.

That's not the juiciest part. The best part is that I started two savings same day on different accounts, which means that another savings will be maturing soon. Little efforts does yield something meaningful over time. When I withdrew from the matured savings yesterday, I immediately started another full of motivation and of course with bigger goals since my business is already stabled and doing good.

I went for an amount that would be easier to accumulate daily (4 times of the amount that matured yesterday) I wanted to put it back into my business at maturity to help my business grow. I also chose a nine month maturity period, which means it would be matured by July next year. I'm so thrilled to see what I would achieve with my savings next year and I will also start another when the other account matures. I will decide what to do with the other money later. I also received interest on my savings which I used to give myself a treat (I got sharwama and chocolates with the interest from my savings)

You should give this a try if you have a bank app that you can save with. You will definitely enjoy the benefit and #feelgood when it matures.
