My Splinterlands Journey - Strengthening Foundation Death Splinter
Hello all Hive People & @splinterlands lovers,
Now day I am playing the Frontier mode more as compare to other game mode. The recently added Profile feature by Splnterlands development team is very useful to review the season performance and the overall performance of account. The current season has started few days back only so not much progress till now and not able to unlocked the leaderboard ranking (which required the minimum 100 battles to play in frontier mode), I am sure by the start of coming week I will be able to unlock the same.
If we look at the screenshot above form the profile section of may account then we come to know that I am 640 Rating point below the highest rating I have achieved till now on Frontier mode. Win rate is also approximately same in the current season as compare to the overall win rate. Honestly I am not happy with the win rate and to increase the same I have to strengthen my team, which means I have to level up the cards to unlock the abilities and increase the stats of the cards. So my focus is the upgrade the cards available in my collection as well as adding the missing cards in my collection.
I was reviewing the collection and I must applicate the development team for improving the user interface. The details like different cards in specific set and the cards I owned along with the current price can be seen under market tab itself. Just look at the below screenshot, below each card Instant of checking the each card we can see some numbers which shows the number of copies I have in my collection for that particular cards and Zero means I am missing that card in my collection.
Lenore Nevermore which is a Epic Death monster was the only card missing in my collection so decide to review the same. I have opened some packs in the past but still not able to pull this card so decide to purchase the required copes form the market.
As we can see in the above pic the card has the two ranged attack, six health and the one speed (which is very low). The level one it also has the snipe ability. To upgrade it to level 2, total four BCX are required and leveling up gives the advantage of one additional health. Further upgrade is required total 10 BCX cards and it give give one additional speed and and one additional health also. The speed and health both give good advantage in the battlefield.
I checked the current market price and decided to purchase the copies so that I have level 2 card as my Death Archon supports level 2 Epic monster.
Finally I purchase the each card for 0.021 USD per BCX. And immediately upgraded the same to level 2. I am not very frequently using the Death Splinter as I always miss a reach monster in death team. It's always a confusing for me, how to place in second position when using Death team.
Foundation Pack Opening
I am earning foundation packs everyday form the Frontier game mode, so I have plenty of unopened cards. Decide to open one pack and try my luck. Below is the screenshot of cards pulled from the pack opening.
Not much exciting cards one rare and all other are common cards. Nim Guard Captain is good card and useful when placed in first position against the magic attack. I am trying to upgrade the Foundation Archon to leave 3 but still missing some copies of required cards. Will open the packs earned form everyday Frontier game, may be luck will be upon me. Water splinter is very powerful as it has good magic attack cards and also give magic buff so my priority is to upgrade the water Archon first.
Following three Legendary Cards (form Neutral, Death and Water splinter) pulled form previous season loot chests. Kulu Matermind looks awesome and Drybone Raider looks dangerous. Waiting for Gold Foil Legendary.
Rental Earnings
Rental earning are not good as most of the cards has been moved to lands. This season the rental is almost zero. Card are more productive on lands in my opinion.
In last season earned 56 DEC token as Rental Income using the Splex.gg.
