First of all A Very Happy New Year to all, My prayers to the God, the new year bring happiness and growth for all.
The new year has started and when I look back into year 2025 than it feel amazing that so much development has happened in the Splinterlands ecosystem, and many more update ad addition are in planning. I was listing to the latest Town Hall and the experience was amazing and its was more amazing to see the many more developments on the way. The most aviated events like the building on Lands, Survival mode, new card series will be reality in this year. The new card set was planned in the last quarter of the year (so it is delayed) but the team is more inclined towards the quality rater then just delivery. I am excited to see the new cards and hope their will be new abilities and players I will create new strategies using those card.

Suggestion for Newbie - Paths to Power

When a new player joined the game then the first priority is to learn the mechanism and survive in the game. Some time we ignore some small details or information in learning process which is very useful. I would like to share one such information which is very useful during the battling.
When we click on the Battle option the system start exploring the suitable opponent based on the predefine criteria. Once the system found the suitable opponent the below screen shown up.

image.png

The screen has the information like user name of the opponent, the game modifier, the splinter available to play, mana available and the timer shows the time left to submit the team for battle. But on this screen one more very important information is also available which many players do not check i.e. OPONENT RECENTLY PLAYED.
Just look at the highlighted area in the below screenshot.

image.png

This section provide the information about the recent teams submitted by the opponent for battling. In total you can see the last six teams summited by the opponent. The very first information is just form taking a view of this screen is the last Splinter used by the player. In my case you may check my opponent has mostly used the Earth team (out of last six battles, he plays 4 times with earth and water and life splinter were used once). Why he is using the Earth mostly? May be in his collection the earth team is one of the strongest team or the game modifier may force to use the Earth team. Or earth may be is favorite team and player is ore comfortable with green cards. So if the gem modifier restrict the use of earth team its positive for you. The information do not ends here only, if you scroll the curser over the option, it will shows the cards used to build the team. Just have a look at below screenshot.

This is very handful information to make a strategy and build our own team. By seeing which tanks or reach monsters they prefer, you can choose abilities like Thorns, Magic Reflect, or Shield to neutralize them. This not only shows the card used but also shows the level of the that card. Just scroll over the different game icons and it will shows you the team used for each battle. It is not cool feature to know about the opponent.

I mostly check this feature and tis helps me a many time to win the battle. so do not forget to use the feature next time before building you team.

Following three Legendary Cards (form Neutral, Death and Water splinter) pulled form previous season loot chests. Kulu Matermind looks awesome and Drybone Raider looks dangerous. Waiting for Gold Foil Legendary.

Rental Earnings

Rental earning are not good as most of the cards has been moved to lands. This season the rental is almost zero. Card are more productive on lands in my opinion.

passive income

In last season earned 56 DEC token as Rental Income using the Splex.gg.
