Escalation Presale is Live: Why I'm Buying with SPS & Trading Gold Foils for Foundation Archons

Finally the mini set - Escalation has been officially launched with the start of the pre sale. I have not participated in the previous presale but thinking of making some purchase this time. If you want to purchase the pack with Splinterlands currency then you have three options - credits, DEC and SPS. Player have to spend the 5k credit or DEC for each pack. in this way the each pack costs 5 which is expected also. But you can reduce the cost by half approximately if purchase with the SPS token. Each pack is available to for 350 SPS token and at present SPS price the 350 token worth approximately 2.5 HBD (considering the price of 1 HBD equals to the 1 USD).

The sale has gives the strength to the SPS price, just have look at the chart below. The prices started raised after the January and now we are in the mid of February. The prices are already raised more then 50% in last 45 days. The sale will be live or 13 more days and eligible participants will also get promo cards and some more rewards for leaderboard holders.

Game progress

I am actively participating in Frontier game mode along with the Wild format. Brawl is also on list and I am equal activity in same also. The recent lucky draw was again unlucky for me as not received anything other then the fortune coins and with each fortune coin count I am getting close to next copy of Slingshot card, so something is good then nothing. The Slingshot is still not usable card for me as I am not able to figure out the best use case of card.

I am battling in the Gold II League at present and only 100 rating points are required to unlock the next league i.e. Gold I league. In Frontier mode I am battling in God I league which is the height league available. 5 Wins Daily Rewards me with 3 Frontier Entries along with one Foundation Pack. I was thinking of upgrading my foundation cards and checked the market section for same. Then I realized that I am holding good number of foundation packs and why not try me luck in pack opening. I will share the outcome in other post but can say that fortunately got the required cards.

Last season was average and I earned more then 180KGlint tokens as rewards form ranked play and season end and this season till now earned 69,363 Glints (we still has more then 3 days of current season). Today I spend 175,000 Glint token to purchase the 70 Major Chests.

Here are the screenshot of cards received form the Major chest.

From 70 ultimate chests, I received 71 cards, 54potions, 17 energy and 4615 merits.
Fortunately pulled one copies of Gold Foil cards along with normal foil rare cards also. Below is the screenshot from collection showing the Gold Foil version cards I have from the current Reward Series.

Above pic shows the rewards I received when I unlocked the Gold I league. Majority of cards are form Earth team only (pulled one Archon also cool).

I am willing to exchange those gold foil cards for the Foundation Archons, so if anyone interested please share in comment section.
