MoonKart Adventure Begins: Exploring My First Steps on ArcadeColony

Recently I shared a post on Arcadecolony and the game built on the platform i.e. Moonkart. You can check my post by clicking here. In continued to same I am sharing another post on MoonKart, in which I will share my exploration, some finding and may future plan for the game. No doubt the Hive is one good platform for play2earn games which not only rewards the players for playing but sharing the content about the game on Hive blockchain also rewarding, so you play you will earn, you share your experience you will earn again. So keep paying and keep sharing the experience. The Arcadecolony is different form other game platform or projects. This is platform for not only for the players its also for the developers who want to launch their game on web3. Without much difficulty, without worry about how the rewards will be distributed and how to integrate with the blockchain, how the NFT minting will take place the developers can get the full support to launch their project on Hive. I appreciate the work done by @aggroed and team.

Form couple of day I was exploring the content available on the Hive blockchain about the game and also checking the whitepaper. Its worth to whitepaper if you want to know the game mechanics, economic models, different NFT's available, how the reward system works, how the fuel generation works etc.

When I was reading about the different karts in the game I stopped at Primary Kart: Astro Kart.

Above screenshot is form the whitepaper which stats that the common variant of kart will be available to the players that sign up for the game. I was like oh that's great lets check the game inventory. At first I checked the tab my assets on arcadecolony.

Its showing Results:1 but noting ins visible, I tried changing the fitters also but not able to locate anything.

Then I checked the Assets tab inside the MoonKart game environment. But unfortunately it was also empty. I do not know If I have missed something or its a bug. May be someone from development team may be able to explain. At this moment it was very clear that either I have to purchase the packs or the cards directly to play the game. The official pack sale is over so the only option for the pack purchase is secondary market. I prefer the Hive Engine to purchase the packs. I decide to try the card market first.
I was bit confused between a common or rare variant.

The price variant was more then 3 times. To get start I thought its better to go with common as I was not knowing that other then Kart what other accessories may also be required and what will be the compatibility of them (I guess common may not be used with the other variant).

The items available in the market are purchasable with SCRIPT token or Credit only. So to make the purchase I need to convert the Hive into SCRIPT token so its time to check the Hive-Engine.

At present the SCRIPT token are trading at 1.5 hive per token which is not a bad value for a game token in Hive ecosystem.

I may need some more item so I decide to purchase 15 SCRIPT token and total value was 22.646 Hive.

But unfortunately the transection was not went thought even after multiple tries. I do not know its the node issue or some issue form the Hive-Engine itself. I will try the same in the evening also and once it ill went though will purchase the Kart and other items required to play the game.

I checked the Colony token available in my game wallet, and that are 28066 in total. Some are still claimable so I claimed then immediately.

I am not holding any SCRIPT token in wallet.
Hope I will be able to purchase the SCRIPT token and that will enable me to purchase some game assets which will enable me to play the game.
Will share my first experience of race soon.

To start the game play I need the NFT cards and either I can buy packs or can directly purchase the NFT cards form the market. I guess purchasing the cards will be good option to start the game, But I love to try my luck for pack opening also.
