Getting Back in the Land Game: My Land Progress and Resource Balance Struggle

It has been a while I have not shred my Land progress and the reason was that their was not much progress on plots I owned. After the last Land update their was major changed in the production methodology and if some one want to their Land / Plot to be productive then he must make some changes. I was not able to spend time on understanding the land update and make changes that was the reason plots were non productive (they stopped producing after reaching the full holding capacity). Initially their was three resources that player are produce form the plots - SPS, Grain and Research. After wards other resources were also added for production i.e. Wood, Iron and Iron. Initially the harvesting was required only the Grain (which make the Grain a valuable production) and for basic production item harvest (i.e. Grain, Wood & Iron) still the Grain is basic requirement but for harvesting the SPS, Research and Aura , the other resources are also required. So if some one just producing the Grain, Wood and Iron then still Grain is the most Important item as for every transection or harvest Gain is essentially required, But the plyers interested in SPS and Research Production they have to make balance between the all resources as a mix of those items are required for harvesting. The plyers own production is not the only source for all those different resources, their is a market here the players can trade the resources. Recently I cheeked my pots and tried to make them productive. Lets have look at them.

Land - Plot Production Progress

After the Land update non of my worksite was producing the Grain. I am holding eight plots in my main account and three plots in the alt account. We will talked about my main account only here - one plot is producing the Research, three are in production of Wood and four are in to production of SPS.

The one thing is very clear - one main resource i.e. Grain is missing in production sites.

When I clicked on the harvest all option, the below quantity of resources were short to make it happened - Grain : 68594, Wood : 9937, Stone: 11052, Iron : 3616.

I decide to claim the SPS first. Once I will have the SPS in my account I will be able to trade the SPS for DEC and then trade DEC for other recourses. I decide to target the Grain first which was short by 46810.

I spend 1070 DEC and swap with 47097 Grains, the average cost of Grain was 0.023 DEC.

You can see form the below screenshot that the I have sufficient Grains in my wallet for now.

Next resource I taken up was Stone which were short by 11055. For SPS resource claim only it was approximately 9362 Stone. I made use of swap option and converted more DEC into Stone, check below screen shots, the average cost of Stone was 0.095 DEC. Its more then 4 times the price of Grain. Grain is essential part of Lands but other resources also has a good value in the market. May be less people are producing the other resources. I have to check and analyze which resource I should start producing in future.

I was sure that I will be able to claim approximately 150 SPS, so I decide to convert 150 SPS form my wallet into DEC token using the Swap feature of @keychain dapp. I must say it was very smoot, easy and hassle free. Within seconds the 1537 DEC were in my account.

Nest step was transferring the DEC form Hive-Engine to my game wallet. Which was also very easy and quick.

Iron resource was even more costlier. I have paid 1040 DEC for 2349 Iron resources in this way each iron resource costed me 0.443 DEC, which was more then 19 times the cost of Iron. Is that means Iron is more profitable in case of production. I have to figured out, a per my knowledge the type of land / plot also matters when producing some specific resource. So first I have to check which resources are more suitable to produce form my plots.

Finally I was in a position that I can claim the SPS token from plot.

Out of 172 SPS, I have paid 19 SPS as taxes.

I still have the research resource to claim but before that I have to accumulate or purchase the required resources to harvest the same.
The above activity was performed one week ago and today below is the status of my those 8 plots.

I have still have to figured out to make a better use of plots and for same I guess I should star exploring the Whitepaper and Land Help. If you have any suggestion please share in comment section.
