From Alpha Cards to Soulbound Rewards: Why Splinterlands Still Shines

Splinterlands is one of the best game on Blockchain as per my knowledge and of course one of the favorite game also, and that is the reason I am playing the game almost everyday. The fun factor, the greed to earn and reinvest to upgrade the cards and growing my card collection are some basic reason and motivation for me that make me play the game. I have seen how the game evolve the past form a game with few cards (form Alpha & Beta Edition) to todays wide collection of cards with a number of editions. New rule set and new abilities introduced the new strategies and ultimately adding the more fun in the game. The dynamic nature of the game which is driven by the game developers is the one major reason that the game has completed more then 8 years and till now survives (when many web2 games has been vanished). Players always need something new and that is what the game has delivered and I am sure will delivered to the players in future also. To make the ecosystem survival and to end the exploitation and inflation issues, team has taken a big step in past and change the reward cards to Soulbound cards. The players are getting the reward cards for paying the game but those cards are not tradeable or transferable. Players can not rent the cards or put them on market but they can use them for battling the ranked games and earn the more rewards like SPS, leaderboard rewards etc. You can still make those cards free but it has some cost, players need to spend DEC or Scrolls to make the cards free, this mechanism works well.

Wild Game Play

In the wild format today I unlocked the Gold III with 2100 rating, the win rate is not much exciting as it below the 50% but I am able to hold 45th rank on leaderboard. At present every win in Wild format earn me approximately 462 glints and till now earned more then 24K Glints in the current season and holding 1230k glints in my wallet. The season has started two days go only so have enough time to play in current reason and increase the stats, hope will be able to main the position on the leaderboard.

Brawl Game Play

I have submitted my teams for all brawl battles and the current brawl will end in few hours. Till now we are holding the sixth position on the leaderboard and I do not think the position will change. Till now I have lost two brawl battles. Lets see what rewards we will earn at the end of brawl.
In the latest Town Hall the team has discussed on the overhauling of the Guilds and as I was able to understand they will also linked with the Land. It was exciting news and will be more exciting to see how they will integrate the Guild with Lands. I have not upgraded any Gladius card in the near past, So will review the cards and will update as those cards are allows in some ranked battles also and the bloodlust ability is awesome.

I am willing to exchange gold foil cards for the Foundation Archons, so if anyone interested please share in comment section.
