Brawl Rewards & The Big Proposal: Who Really Owns Splinterlands?

I was listing to the latest Town Hall and find some very interesting news, which may be not new for many of you who already gone through the Town Hall, but still it worth to share again with community and share thoughts on same. Hive is decentralised and Splinterlands took one more step towards the same. The SPS token is the governing token in the game and means for giving the power in the hands of community. To make it fully decentralised the Splinterlands team has come up with a proposal which suggests a Sale Agreement between the DAO and the Splinterlands i.e. Steem Monster Inc. if the agreement got signed that means the DAO will purchase the Intellectual Property i.e. IP of Splinterlands form the agreement give the Steam Monsters Inc. that means the main control will be in DAO hands and DAO will be the Owner or Boss. The Steam Monsters Inc will be a contractor for the DAO, hired to maintain the serve, develop new sets and provide the customer support. Their will not be any restriction that the Steam Monsters Inc will be the only contractor as it's very clear that in the future if the DAO will not be happy with the performance they can hire other developers for all those activities.

The Cost: Roughly $2 million per year ($4 million over two years)

Team has mensioned in the past also that the total cost to the company per year is roughly 2 million. At present those expenses cover by sale of packs, promo cards etc. In this case the risk is always with the Steam Monsters Inc as they have to sell the packs ect, the agreement will transfer the rick to the DAO. The DAO will pay for the development cost and will keep 100% of all sale revenue for pack sale etc. at present it all went to the Steam Monsters Inc. the Company will get the findings for delivering the Core Set and Mini Set and reward cards in future. The whole consept is transferring the risk and ownership to the DAO.

Brawl Game Play

Participanter in the previous Brawl and submitted the team for all the battles. The Brawl is designed in such way that it can not be a one man show and the participation of the team is very essential. Without the full participation of team or team efforts it's not possible to earn form the Brawl format. What I earned for the Brwal play?
It's 71 crawn, 4733 Mertis and 33.96 SPS, ofcourse the SPS are in staked condition so presently I have more then 107k staked SPS in my main account.

Below is the screenshot of rewards I pulled on opening a Gladius pack.

One rare cards and rest of four were the common cards. No gold foil, no legendary cards. I have not reviews mt Gladius collection form past some time. I will go though the same and will upgrade some cards to match the Archon I have.

I am willing to exchange gold foil cards for the Foundation Archons, so if anyone interested please share in comment section.
