What does wealth consist of for you?
Wow! This is a very personal topic as this can be very different from person to person.
I took a minute to look up exactly what wealth is. I found a few definitions (all similar), but this is the one I like the most.
Wealth measures the value of all the assets of worth owned by a person, community, company, or country. Wealth is determined by taking the total market value of all physical and intangible assets owned, then subtracting all debts. I like to say that I am the ‘richest’ person in the world as I have a home & a wonderful husband of 13 years that I love very much & believe that the feeling is mutual from him. But this doesn’t constitute wealth, does it.
So, for me to be wealthy I need what most of us need, ‘Lots of Money’. Wealth to me would be for my husband & I both to have no debt, own our home right out and maybe a couple of houses in a couple of other states for when we visit family & friends. We also would need to always have at least $500,000 on hand. This is so that we may pay for everything right out, anything we want when we need/want to. Never having to worry about how much something cost. In addition to our houses, we need a few cars (mine, his, & ours).
As you can see my wealth holds a lot of material items but they’re much needed material items, but of course money is needed to maintain & keep these things as well as to acquire other things of interest, those needed to survive & those needed just to enjoy life.
My wealth would also allow the ability to take several vacations a year, & a number of investments (of course this includes Hive), that keep accruing more money so that when we use some of the $500,000 it instantly replaces or even adds to it, so it’s like we never even touched the $500,000.
It was fun to read :D ...especially the cars lol his mine and ours , because cars are cool and so necessary :)
Also 500k in cash is fun too but like you said , better to have a revenu from its placement and the flow never stops , cash goes way too fast :D .
Richness for me is having the freedom to spend time with the people I love, having "the time" to go wherever I want, to enjoy my family, to be able to help people.
When you talk about wealth, people usually think only of finances and forget that financial wealth brings you the wealth of time and that is priceless, because we all have 24 hours a day, and sometimes we leave something to be desired with people/ family, for having a lot of accumulated work and constant pressure.
Money doesn't bring happiness, but the lack of it will certainly unfortunately bring you sadness.
Lmao, who said I don't finish projects? Skippy is up and running and cross chain. I have many many other projects that are up and running also.
Men's health project launched in 2020 and was on hold due to 3 years of Melbourne's lockdowns. I guess the short term memory thing is applied to the Mancave as a whole 🤣🤣🤣 Trumpmans new logo is pretty neat, it fits the cave well just like a 70s mirror disco ball vibe kinda thing.
Wealth in terms of material possessions , consists of owning enough to not feel any stress concerning money .
Not worried to have a job or not , enjoying a job we love , ( which, lets be honest, not many people do )
Also enjoying more vacations and higher life standard .
With that , come along the pleasure of connections with people we enjoy and good mental and physical health .
Many people making money have lost their way to health or true connections , this is why all these points must come together .
I'd have to say that wealth is having everything I need to be happy. That means health, genuine connections, enough to eat, and a comfortable place to live. Isn't anything above that just extra???
We can't base how much money is enough based on what's in a bank account or wallet. What would be enough for a year's rent and food money for several months in one place might not last a week in another.
