Sweet Sketching: Drawing Grapes

Today, of all fruits, I decided to draw Grapes. Grapes are amazing, delicious, succulent, and above all, they have a distinct color. Honestly, it's not every day you come across a purple fruit, right?

To top it all off, grapes are my favorite fruit. I love them so much and I cannot get enough of them whenever I have them. The sad thing about them is that they are a bit pricey.

Drawing this wonderful fruit was pretty easy; I simply played around with little circles making it super easy to complete the drawing in record time.

For my drawing, I used the below materials and followed the below steps.

Materials

Sketch pad
2H pencil
4B pencil
Eraser
Black pen

Procedure
Step 1:
I started by drawing part of the stem and leaves of the grapes using my 4B pencil.

Step 2:
I drew two of the grape clusters using circles to this effect.

Step 3:
I continued with the grape cluster making sure there was no space in between them and I also completed the leaves.

Step 4:
I used my black pen to give the drawing a darker outline and I also completed the grape clusters.

Step 5:
To make it more realistic I added some curves to each of the grapes.

Step 6:
I shaded the necessary parts of the grape clusters and tada! My grapes drawing was ready.
