Draw these two Love birds with me

I cannot over-emphasize the importance of using shapes to draw. Breaking whatever image you are about to draw into multiple shapes makes your drawing easier and faster, how cool is that?

This drawing hack is amazing and if you haven’t started using it, you should.

Have you ever seen two love birds on a branch and their chemistry so strong and contagious? If you haven’t, don’t worry my drawing got you covered😃

For today's drawing, I will be walking you guys through the process of bringing these two love birds to life and I hope someone out there learns a thing or two from my tutorial😃

For my drawing, I used the above materials and followed the below steps.

Materials

Sketch Pad

2H pencil

4B pencil

Black pen

Procedure

Step 1:
I started by first drawing a heart shape, instead of diving straight into drawing each of the birds separately.

Step 2:
I proceeded to draw one of the bird's heads. From the drawing, you can see that the heart shape I drew earlier would serve as the wings of the birds.

Step 3:
The second bird's head was drawn and part of the wings was completed as well.

Step 4:
I drew the eyes and beaks of the birds and the tiny heart shape in between them.

Step 5:
I used my 4B pencil to give it a darker outline and I also drew the branch.

Step 6:
I moved on to complete the branch and the wings of the birds as well.

Step 7:
I used my black pen to give the drawing a darker outline.

I put some finishing touches and Voila! These cute love birds were drawn.

I am so glad that my drawing turned out neat and lovely.
