I Just Made a Hive Bracelet that Looks Like a Watch

Hello Hivers and my wonderful jewelry lovers. Today, I will be telling you how I was able to make a bracelet that looks like a watch but before I will be proceeding with the steps applied. I will like you to understand that when I realized that I will be making a post for the community today, I was somehow confused because the idea of what to present was not there but happily an idea was realized.

How I was able to realize an idea of how to make the bracelet that I presented when I finished my afternoon bathing and dressed together with my watch. I looked at my watch over and over which gave me the instinct to make a hive bracelet that looks like a watch.

The idea of making the Hive bracelet was also an opportunity for me to showcase the love I have for the Hive platform because it has really contributed to my life through the acquisition of new ideas on creativity, intellectual, global exposure about life and the environment, and lastly Hive has also being a source of income which I use in supporting my Jewelry, shoemaking business.

Without wasting much of your time, in the post, I will be pointing out the materials, tools, and procedures which I adopted in making the Hive bracelet a reality.

Materials used are listed below:

0.8mm fishing line.

1.5mm wire.

A Bracelet hook was used.

Bead stopper.

A total of 95 pieces of white sand bead while 47 were used for the center, and 58 for the hand of the Hive bracelet.

43 pieces of red sand bead were used.

A total of 14 pieces of red diamond shape beads, 2 were used for the center, and 12 for the hand of the Hive bracelet.

4 pieces of alphabet bead were used.

Tools that were used also have to be considered:

Plier.

Cutter.

Matches.

We are now going to be focusing on the process applied in making the Hive bracelet:

I have to first use a plier to bend a wire which later turned into a .square form. After the formation of the square wire form, I have to insert 47 white sand beads and then use a bead stopper to lock the square form in which I just inserted white beads.

IMG_20221013_133442.jpg

I have to insert 13 pieces of the red sand beads using a fishing line and then pass them through the last white beads from the square formation. Then using the same fishing line, I still have to insert 16 pieces of the red sand bead and then still pass it to the last white sand bead square formation but from the outside. I now have to use a stopper to lock it.

Using a fishing line, I inserted 1 red diamond shape bead, H, I, V, and E alphabet, followed by 1 red diamond shape bead. I now have to slant the fishing line inside the square formation of the bracelet and then use a stopper to lock it.

I now have to form the hand of the bracelet by inserting 20 pieces of white sand bead but 10 pieces in each of a two-line from the one side hand of the bracelet and then join the two-line fishing line together. After the joining, I have to insert 3 pieces of red diamond shape and 1 white sand bead and then use a stopper to hold.

From one side hide of the bracelet, I now inserted 4 pieces of red sand bead vertically, 2 pieces of white sand bead crossing it, and then 3 pieces of red sand bead vertically again. I later used a stopper to hold it.

I inserted another 3 pieces of red diamond bead, and I white sand bead and then use a stopper to hold them.

Note that the same number of beads used in one side hand of the bracelet is also applicable in the second hand.

I now have to insert my bracelet hook and then use a plier to lock it.

Lastly, I have to use a match to light out the fire which I used in dressing the mouth of the fishing line I used a stopper to lock it.

What a great idea friend @apunawu, to use these letters to create a bracelet with the acronym #HIVE, I have several and had thought of something similar but with macrame knot. I loved that idea and the design looks super original combining the characteristic colors of the platform. congratulations for your beautiful work...I would use it 😋 ...thank you very much for sharing!!!!💕
